Planets

Did you know that planets move very fast? Mercury moves the fastest and is the smallest planet. Venus is the second fastest. Third fastest is Earth. Mars is the fourth planet. The fifth is Jupiter. Saturn is the sixth planet that moves the fastest. Seventh is Uranus. Eighth is Neptune. That is the order from fastest to slowest.
Earth and the other three inner planets (Mercury, Venus and Mars) are made of rock containing common minerals like field spars metals magnesium and aluminum. So is Pluto. The other is not solid. Jupiter for instance is made of mostly trapped helium, hydrogen and water. In our solar system the four gas giants are Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus.
There are only eight planets in our solar system. Some planets have rings because gases have formed around them. The names of all the planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. If you are wondering, yes all planets move. They all rotate on an axis. No one has landed on any other planet.
Did you know that all planets have seasons!!! They change from time to time. They do not rotate at the same speed. They rotate on an axis. Although no one has landed on any other planet people have walked on the moon.
