There are very many different types of satellites. There are weather satellites, and there is radio and TV satellite. As you go through there are many interesting facts. Here are some interesting facts for you.
The biggest satellite is the Neptune satellites. Its name is Protease. Its dimension is 436 by 416 by 402.This satellite has pictures of the new plants.
The satellites work by using a mobile mirror. It reflects the image down to the people on earth. They have weather satellites that tell what the weather is going to be. One of the very first satellites was Gaesack, and it weights as much as a car.
Did you know people can stay in satellites? Some are big enough and has enough technology for the people to stay in them. Some people can stay in satellites for 1 week and 1day. Did you know one of the closest satellites to earth is the moon?
You probably want to know how satellites stay in space. It works the same way as our moon stays up in space. They rotate around the earth with a certain speed, and there's nothing to slow them down, so they stay up there. (The international space station however, is closer to earth and loses speed due to friction with the atmosphere. It has engines to keep it flying.) You will not believe how many satellites there are in the solar system, there is over ten-million.
